HE'S GONE...THE NINTH DOCTOR IS GONE!!! :'(
I almost cried...I probably would have if I was watching it at home...maybe I will when we watch it again...
...he died to save Rose...
...and now he's GONE!
I don't understand...those STUPID people who hate the Ninth Doctor...
...Oh, that's rude...isn't it? sorry... :P
Anyway...
Ten will take a while to get used to, I think...I mean...he is great, and really funny...but Nine is just...so much like the Doctor...idk...(well, I mean, he is the Doctor, obviously..but...ok, nevermind...)
I can't imagine what it must have been like for Rose...he didn't even tell her before he regenerated...
...and then he made her think he was dying...

But I must say, a duel is a great way to start... :)

<-- Kinda sounds like Star Wars...with all the hands that are cut off...

(Not to mention, watching The Goblet of Fire right after was incredibly strange...)

Okay...I will stop now...I'm sorry...

Wait...one more...

Okay...*now* i'm done...

Just Some Updates...

Well, the first, perhaps most important news, is DOCTOR WHO STARTS UP AGAIN TODAY!!!!

Now, for some more important dates:

April 3rd: FISH FINGERS AND CUSTARD DAY

April 23rd: SILENCE DAY
Who's going to be doing this? (I'll post this again to remind you all)

And a little poem I found on this page:

I would on a boat
I would with a goat
I would in a house
I would with a mouse
I would in the dark
... I would with a shark
I like my Doctor Who, you see
And I'll watch it too, wherever I'll be

And now, if anyone could try to help me...last time i watched Doctor Who was in February...last episode I saw was The Doctor Dances...and I'm *just a bit* freaked out (as in, I haven't slept well for almost two months)...so...any advice?? I know I can't stop watching Doctor Who...

Series 1, Episode 1: "Rose"

Rose is just a normal young woman living in England and working at a clothing department. But her ordinary life is turned completely upside-down when the mannequinns in the storage room come to life and try to attack her.
Then a man shows up and rescues Rose. He's the Doctor, though no one really knows what that means. After he saves Rose, the Doctor leaves and Rose contacts a man who might know more about this mysterious Doctor. After her boyfriend, Mickey, turns into a plastic mannequinn, the Doctor reappears and saves Rose yet again. The two escape in a Police Call Box, which is the Doctor's time machine-the TARDIS.
The Doctor explains that the living plastic mannequins are controlled by something bigger, and they set out to find it.
While trying to reason with the leader, the Doctor is attacked by the mannequinns. Meanwhile, all over London, the shop mannequinns are coming to life and attacking everyone. Rose knows that she has to do something, so she helps the Doctor defeat the living plastic. Then the Doctor gets in his TARDIS and offers to take Rose with him. At first she is hesitant, but then agrees.

So, there is a summary/outline of the very first episode of the new series of BBC's Doctor Who. (I know, it wasn't that great of a summary...sorry.) Now...to the review part.

First, we shall deal with scary stuff/violence. Mannequinns coming to life...okay, kinda weird, a bit creepy, too. And when the try to kill people (actually, I think they do...but I'm not completely sure on that one..), well, that kinda makes them definately scary. But it wasn't that bad. They were defeated. And Mickey was found again in human form, so everything worked out fine.

Language...I don't recall any.

Now...mature themes. Not too many. Rose and Mickey are together, and they kiss a the beginning. When the Doctor goes to Rose's appartment, her mother suggests that "something might happen" with a strange man in the house, but the Doctor firmly denies that it will. After the Doctor leaves for the first time, Rose goes to Mickey's to do research on who this Doctor person might be, and he says she just wants an excuse to get into his room. When Rose does find someone who might know about the Doctor, she goes to the man's house, and Mickey insists on coming in with her, but she tells him that she will be fine, the man is married with kids. ...Other than these small references, nothing happens. So, pretty clean, especially for a modern TV show.

That is my review...if you have any comments/questions/suggestions, please leave them below in the comment box. And the more comments, the better. I love comments, especially long ones, so don't be shy about yakking about how much you like Doctor Who! :)

Oh, and here's the recap:

Valentine's Day...Whovian Style.

So...Valentine's Day. I'm guessing most of us nerds don't really list this holiday as our favourite. For multiple reasons. One may be because the person we want to be with hasn't shown up yet. I'm guessing, this statement is probably true for you all:

Maybe not all of us in the same way, but we all love him as a character. Myself included, of course.

Some of us have this problem:

I think this is really funny:

And I totally agree with this statement:

:D  I'm waiting....

Welcome, Introduction...etc.

Sooo...I'm new to Doctor Who. I just started watching about a week and a half ago. Prior to this, I was already kind of obsessed, after seeing all the stuff about it on Facebook, and also since some of my friends are Whovians. So, yes, part of the "thank you" needs to go to my friends (...if you are reading this, THANK YOU! I hope you know who you are...).
Once I got into it from the stuff I was hearing on Facebook and from my friends, I realised that I could not just sit here and accept the fact that I don't watch much TV, so I won't be able to watch Doctor Who. Nope, that is definitely NOT what I did. I went to watch it with a friend, since I don't have Netflix, either. And now, even though I have only seen two episodes, I am definitely hooked!
Yes, only two episodes (sadly). Now, before you get any ideas that I am like those "Whovian fangirls" who skip certain seasons just so they can see certain actors and only watch those certain ones, I'm not. I started right from the beginning of Season 1 from 2005. So, yes, I am on the 9th Doctor.
I don't know if this was a very good introduction, but I hope you decide to follow this blog and hear more of my story. Now, about the blog itself.
I will be posting news and cool events that will interest all the fans of Doctor Who, and also posting cool pictures, videos, and humorous stuff (but don't worry, it will be all clean). As I watch each episode, I will review it here, too. Included in my review will be a summary, highlights, pictures, my thoughts, and maybe a recap video if I can find one.
Now, concerning spoilers. I warn you now, if you have not seen all the episodes, please know that I will be talking freely about the ones that I have seen. And if you have seen all the episodes, please don't spoil anything for me-just talk about the ones that I have reviewed. Thank you, it will be greatly appreciated. :)

And lastly, I love to hear thoughts and feedback from other fans, so please comment. Anonymous comments are accepted, too, so you have no excuse for not giving your input. (And if I know you, please leave your special name when you comment so I know who you are-I hope my friends who I am addressing know what I mean ;) )
